PSALM 1:1-3

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.

Men's Ministry

Once a month, our men gather together to worship, share testimonies, fellowship over food, and dive into the word of G-d. Bat Zion has been blessed with many anointed men who often share that anointing at meetings. We experience healing, deliverance, encouragement, strength, and growth within our meetings. We encourage every man to step out and join us so that, through fellowship, we can help each other be the men G-d has called us to be. The Bat Zion Men’s Ministry is led by Rabbi Steve Jaslow.

Sisterhood Ministry

Led by Pastor Margaret Jaslow, the Sisterhood Ministry is a place for women of faith of all ages to enjoy fellowship with each other, support and encourage one another, and envelop ourselves in the word of G-d. Each meeting the L-rd moves in a different way, often bringing healing and deliverance to many. The ministry is a safe haven for women to bring their issues to G-d with the support of other “sisters”. We invite, welcome, and encourage all women to be a part of the Sisterhood Ministry.

Children's Ministry

We want to see our children grow in their love of G-d, begin to learn Hebrew, participate in the Feasts, and develop a hunger for a Yeshua-centered life. We strive to lay the foundations for a lifetime of learning and growth in G-d. We accomplish this by developing relationships with the whole family, studying and learning the word of G-d and encouraging our children to deepen their knowledge, understanding and actions.

Children are a huge blessing to us here at Bat Zion. Our leaders are fully invested in making sure they know and experience the love of Yeshua through teaching, hands-on projects, weekly bible verses, etc. The weekly lessons are from a Messianic perspective and include Hebrew words and the aleph-bet (Hebrew alphabet). We encourage you and your child to check out our children’s ministry and watch them grow in Messiah Yeshua!

Classes are available for ages 4-12.

(There is a nursery available for children under 4.)

Dance Ministry

Davidic dancing, which you find in most Messianic congregations, is more than just dancing. It is spiritual warfare and a front-line position in battle. Our dancers wholeheartedly believe that dancing is prophetic and not just a show. We know that every move comes with meaning and every dance is a chance to enter the throne room of HaShem. It is a vital part of ushering the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) into our services and is not just a background activity.

Both men and women danced throughout the Bible, bringing joy to the camps and the people! We encourage you to join us next Shabbat as we bring worship through our movements.

PSALM 149:1-6A (CJB)

Halleluyah! Sing to Adonai a new song,
his praise in the assembly of the faithful.
Let Isra’el rejoice in their maker,
let Tziyon’s children take joy in their king.
Let them praise his name with dancing,
make melody to him with tambourine and lyre;
for Adonai takes delight in his people,
he crowns the humble with salvation.
Let the faithful exult gloriously,
let them sing for joy on their beds.
Let the high praises of God be in their throats

JEREMIAH 31:13

Then young women will dance and be glad, young men and old as well. I will turn their mourning into gladness, I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.

2 SAMUEL 6:14-15

Wearing a linen ephod, David was dancing before the Lord with all his might, while he and all Israel were bringing up the ark of the Lord with shouts and the sound of the trumpets.

Evangelism Ministry

At Bat Zion, we feel there is always a need to minister. Not just for the lost to find salvation, but for the hurting to find comfort, for the unloved to feel compassion, and for the hopeless to find hope. We are the hands and feet of Yeshua, and as so, we feel called to extend that love to others in our community.

We have a calling and mission given by Yeshua to reach the Jews and Gentiles alike. It is not our purpose to evangelize the Jews in such a way we make them change their identity to become something they’re not, but for them to know their Jewish Messiah that first came to them and to reveal Yeshua in the Torah and Moedim (Appointed Times, i.e. biblical feast days, Shabbat, etc). We know as Messianic believers, Yeshua will not return until all Israel cries “Baruch HaBa B’shem Adonai” (Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord), and we seek to be a part of that! If we don’t, who will?
