BAT ZION YOUNG ADULTS

A place for Messianic Millennials to fellowship, grow and relate with other believers in our generation

Hessa Benfield

I’m Hessa and I’m 26, from North Carolina and I have 6 birds, yes 6! Crazy right??! Anywho, G-d called me into the Messianic movement in 2004, later discovering after all these years, my mother’s side has Ashkenazi (European) Jewish DNA. I serve in a lot of areas but I love Davidic dancing, worship ANNNND I REALLY have a passion for getting people together to fellowship and have a “kosher” good time with other believers. Since we are not to be “of the world” but be in it, it’s important to have that fellowship. I encourage other young adults to get on board! I have the awesome pleasure of having Tronia –> (who is the South Central Regional YMJA representative) by my side

STAY TUNED FOR OUR NEXT EVENT!!!

The Young Adults group will take a break during the month of September since the High Holy Days will be approaching us. We would love for you to join us for the upcoming Feast days!!! To learn more, or if you have any questions, just email below!!!

What is our goal?

To bring together Messianic Millennials for the sole purpose of fellowship and growth with like-minded believers. By building up the Messianic Millennials, we can now bridge a gap within our own congregation, and reach other Millennials for the kingdom of G-d.

What is our Vision?

Through the strength and unity of fellowship, we want to see the next generation grow in the Messianic faith, and be trained and prepped by current leaders to take up our positions as leaders when the time has been appointed to us. By developing relationships among other Messianic Millennials, this allows us to communicate, encourage, and build each other up in a way that our generation can relate and understand.

Who are we trying to reach?

First, we are seeking to reach millennials ages 18-35 within our congregation. However, it will always be our goal to witness to other non-believer millennials wherever we go and whatever we do, so through our witness we can reach others in that age group as well.

When do we meet?

We try our best to meet twice a month.

-One meeting is a meeting that we go out and participate in kosher events, such as dining out, going to see a movie, bowling, etc. This event may require a small amount of spending.

-The second meeting will be revolved around budget friendly activities such as game nights, movie nights, etc. This will be available for those who may not be able to financially participate in other events. We want our meetings to be open to all millennials regardless of finances, so it is our goal to provide that opportunity.

Contact us for questions, information on upcoming events, or ideas! We would love to hear from you!

Tronia Tante

South Central Regional YMJA Representative

What’s up guys?! My name is Tronia. (: Hard to say? Well let me help you out, it’s, Trah- Nee- Uh. Easy right? I also sometimes go by Tron or Nia. I am from Fort Worth, and I attend Bat Zion in Duncanville, Texas. I’m currently a freshman in college majoring in biology at the University of Texas at Arlington. I love a wide variety of music and dance, especially if it involves either a hip hop choreography or a cultural African vibe. I have a great sense of humor and I’m very easy to talk to. I’m amazed at the opportunity of being a regional rep this year and excited to be a part of the YMJA! All of this is mind blowing but I know G-d has something wonderful in store, and I can’t wait to see y’all at the South Central retreat! I can be emailed at tronia@ymja.org
